Harvesting campaign in the fields of Tatarstan is completed: 4 million 700 thousand tonnes have been threshed with an average yield of 37 centners per hectare

On September 2, speaking at a videoconference with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions of the republic at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said the harvesting campaign in the fields of Tatarstan is being completed. As many as 88 per cent of the area have been threshed with the grain yield making 4 million 700 thousand tonnes with an average yield of 37 centners per hectare.

He also said that this week the harvesting campaign in the Atninsk and Nurlat municipal regions was finished. Many regions of the republic are also close to finishing the harvesting campaign. According to Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Tatarstan of Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zhyabbarov, the sowing of winter crops continues in the republic, namely 50 per cent of the planned areas have been sown.
