1 mln 174.4 thousand square meters of housing to be commissioned in the second half of 2013 in Tatarstan

On July 12 at a regional meeting chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Irek Faizullin said that 1 mln 223.6 thousand square meters of housing (51 per cent of a year plan) were commissioned in the first half of 2013 in Tatarstan, and 1 mln 174.4 thousand square meters of housing would be commissioned in the second half of 2013.
63 of 133 houses with a total area of 204.8 thousand square meters (53.4 per cent of the annual plan) have been commissioned under social mortgage programme.
Speaking about the programme on improving war veterans’ living conditions, Tatarstan Minister of Construction reminded that 103 houses for 404 veterans were under construction.
Addressing Tatarstan President, Irek Faizullin noted that 1 mln 900 thousand square meters of housing were under construction and could be commissioned by the end of the year.
It was mentioned at the meeting, that it is necessary to speed up construction of corporate housing for police commissioners in six regions, including Apastovsky, Agryzsky, Alkeevsky, Nizhnekamsk, Chistopol, and Sarmanovsky districts.
Tatarstan Minister of Construction also asked Tatarstan State Construction and Supervision Service to monitor the housing construction process.
Irek Faizullin added that construction and commissioning of housing must be completed by September 30, 2013.
To the point, construction of houses with office facilities for police commissioners using the funds allocated by State Housing Fund has started. By and large, 21 houses in 21 municipal districts are to be constructed.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and representatives of all municipal regions took part in the meeting.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
