On 1 October Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin on behalf of the government of the republic and himself congratulated old stagers with the International Day of Older Persons.
In his congratulatory address, Aleksey Pesoshin said: “People have always been the main wealth of our country. And our traditions are based on respect to older generation. I sincerely thank you for your selfless labour which made it possible for our republic to become one of the leading regions in our country in social and economic development.”
“Your human and civic feat and selfless service to the Motherland is a landmark for all following generations. It becomes especially important when there is cruel economic and informational war lead against us, the aim of which is to break unity of Russian people united by a righteous course”, he continued.
Pesoshin said: “No matter how difficult and hard it has been, you have never lost faith in your country and its possibilities and looked into the future with optimism and hope. We are proud of you and promise not to drop the high bar of patriotism and commitments to your ideals you have set up”.
In conclusion Tatarstan Prime Minister wished all older people prosperity, happiness and long life.
