Aleksey Pesoshin: The MES Conference has proved its efficiency
On 7 October, speaking at the XIV International Scientific Applied Conference “Health Architecture – MES 2022” held on the sidelines of the II International Construction Competition in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that for years of its existence the MES conference has proved its high efficiency and worth and has become a key platform for Volga Federal District for exchange of knowledge and experience in engineering and information technologies used at healthcare faculties.
Russian Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko and Minister of Construction and Utilities Sector of the country Irek Fayzullin took part online in the conference moderated by the Head of Tatarstan Investments Development Agency Taliya Minullina.
In his welcoming speech Aleksey Pesoshin told that today Tatarstan is implementing large scale and ambitious projects in various spheres the main objective of which is to increase life quality of people.
“Today design, construction and operation of medical facilities is based on interdisciplinary approach, interaction and partnership of a broad circle of specialists. The key factor of this approach is that preservation of health of a human is related not only to healthcare, implementation of high-tech treatment methods and use of modern equipment but also to creating a favourable environment which itself can produce therapeutic effect,” the Head of the Tatarstan Government said.
He stated that currently many experts and scientists have come to a conclusion that architectural environment can facilitate healing process in many respects. This environment should combine medical technologies, engineering systems, a set and mutual interconnection of facilities and services and influence of outside and inside interiors on feelings and well-being of a person, Pesoshin said
“The conference we are holding today is a perfect platform for cooperation of experts in architecture, construction, healthcare and urban planning and joint development of solution for improvement of our environment,” Tatarstan Prime Minister concluded.
In his turn Russian Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko said that design of medical organizations should follow the principle of “quality embedded into design” and that “this is related not just to the external appearance but to technological solutions as well, It is important to create maxim comfort for patients and decrease their stay in a medical organization to a minimum”.
Russian Minister of Construction and Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin told participants of the conference about a number of current advanced projects in construction of medical facilities and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin told about experience of the city in urban environment development.
