Dmitry Medvedev visits Universiade final volleyball tournament

On July 16 Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev, who arrived in Kazan with a working visit, watched Universiade final men’s volleyball tournament.
He was accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Vice-Premier of Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich, Plenipotentiary of Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, and Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko.
Russian and Polish teams competed in the final tournament. Russian team won in three sets with scores 25:22, 25:19, 25:19.
Due to this victory Russian national team won 150th gold medal at World Summer Universiade 2013.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
