Russian Prime Minister visits Kazan underground

On July 17 Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich and Plenipotentiary of Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich visited Kazan underground.

Director General of MUP “Kazmetroelectrotrans” Asfan Galyavov told Dmitry Medvedev about Kazan underground and showed passenger screening equipment.

Dmitry Medvedev tested interactive information stand and drove to Sevreny Vokzal station, where he saw special elevator for the disabled.

Special motorcycles for immediate arrival of medical workers were shown to Dmitry Medvedev at the railway station. Russian Prime Minister said he saw such motorcycles in Russia for the first time and asked whose idea it was to organize such a service. Rustam Minnikhanov said he had seen it abroad.
