Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Barcelona (Spain)

On July 18 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Barcelona (Spain) with a two-day working visit (July 18-19, 2013). During his stay in Barcelona Rustam Minnikhanov will visit a number of innovation objects, logistics parks, and other infrastructural platforms.
In particular, Frank logistics and industrial zone, Mercabarna agricultural park of Barcelona, intermodal logistics service center (ZAL) of Barcelona Port, 22@ Barcelona innovation district will be toured.
The main purpose of Tatarstan President’s working visit is participation in the opening ceremony of the 15th FINA World Championship. The event will be held at Palau Sant Jordi stadium, one of the largest Barcelona sports venues, tomorrow, on July 19.
To the point, Kazan will host the 16th FINA World Championship in 2015 (July 17-31, 2015).

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
