1 mln 272.7 thousand square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On July 27 at a regional meeting on housing issues and social mortgage programme Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin reported that as of July 26, 2013, 1 mln 272.7 thousand square meters of housing (53.1% of the year plan) were commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 107.8% compared to the last year.
The meeting was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in video conference format with participation of all municipalities.
Thus, according to the Federal State Statistics Service for the 1st half of 2013 Tatarstan Republic with 1 mln 199.8 thousand square meters of housing was ranked third among Russian regions.
As of July 26, 2013, 63 of 133 houses with a total area of 204.8 thousand square meters for 3608 flats (53.4% of the plan) have been commissioned under the social mortgage programme.
Irek Faizullin also reported that a highway would be built on the territory provided for construction of houses under social mortgage programme in Kazan. Therefore, new sites for social mortgage houses must be found.
4 houses with a total area of 3322 square meters, including 23 flats for veterans have been commissioned under the programme on improving living conditions for veterans of the Great Patriotic War during the past two weeks.
103 houses for 384 veterans are under construction.
During the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov asked to speed up construction of sport grounds in regions and reminded that the funds for their construction had been estimated.
Rustam Minnikhanov was also reported about construction of corporate housing for police commissioners under the programme on prevention of law violations in Tatarstan for 2011-2014. By and large, 82 houses are to be built for police commissioners in 39 municipal regions.
Tatarstan Resident asked to pay special attention to the social-cultural objects being constructed in municipal regions. Rustam Minnikhanov said that as a result of random inspection, cases of improper use of some rural clubs were revealed.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.

On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
