Ildar Khalikov: "We highly estimated work of interior bodies during Universiade"

On July 29 at a board session of Tatarstan Ministry of the Interior on results of the first half of 2013 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that work of Tatarstan interior bodies on ensuring safety during 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan was a great experience that must be used in daily work.
Head of the Ministry of the Interior Artem Khokhorin made a report on results of the ministry’s activity in the first half of 2013. He said that stable operative situation during the Games was one of the main achievements, and thanked all employees of the interior bodies for that.
Another important results is decrease in the number of crimes. For the last six months 24196 crimes have been registered, that is by 2.2 thousand less as compared to the last year.
Speaking about work of interior bodies during Universiade, Artem Khokhorin said that 24.5 thousand policemen and military personnel were involved in ensuring safety during the Games.
“Safety is the main thing at such events. Together we could do great and laborious work. We showed Tatarstan guests our powerful law enforcement system that closely interacts with government authorities and public institutions, and is the basis for ensuing safety during mass events and everyday life.
Universiade gave Tatarstan police an opportunity to demonstrate their high professional skills, openness to society and citizens, ability to adopt innovations to the whole world. Tatarstan citizens, guests and Russian leadership highly estimated this work,” Ildar Khalikov said. On behalf of Tatarstan President the Prime Minister thanked employees of Tatarstan Ministry of the Interior for perfect performance of the mission.
Artem Khokhorin thanked Tatarstan leadership for construction of houses with offices of district policemen.
Ildar Khalikov also mentioned urgent problems connected with counternarcotic actions and corruption, and interaction of the interior bodies with municipal self-government and government authorities.
During the session Ildar Khalikov presented some awards to employees of Tatarstan Ministry of the Interior.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
