As many as 716 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 4.36 million square meters take part in capital repair programme in Tatarstan in 2023

On January 13, speaking at a videoconference meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with all regions of the republic in the Government House with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin said that in 2022 in the construction industry of Tatarstan, there were 11 accidents, including 6 fatal ones. About 72 per cent of all accidents are falls from a height and collapse of facilities.

Tatarstan Minister also said that control and supervision measures in the construction industry are carried out systematically.

He also continued that since the beginning of the current year regional self-regulatory organizations have carried out 2028 inspections, the State Construction Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 1553 inspections and issued 74 decisions on imposing fines for the sum of 1m 925 thousand roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations.

The minister also reported on the implementation of federal programmes in the republic, including “Housing and urban environment”, “Ecology”, “Culture”, “Demography”, “Education” national projects.  

Speaking about the implementation of regional programmes, Ayzatullin said: one of the large-scale and socially significant programmes is the major repair of multi-apartment houses. In 2023, it includes 716 houses with the total area of 4.36 million square meters for the total sum of 6 billion 198 million roubles.
