Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening ceremony of Culture Center “Rodina”

On August 2 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of the reconstructed Culture Center “Rodina” in Zelenodolsk.
Sergo plant started construction of the center during the Great Patriotic War to hold plant events there. The center was officially opened on December 10 in 1944.
Capital repair of the center started in June 2012 under the auspices of Tatarstan President. The work cost estimate made 95.3 mln rubles.
During the opening ceremony Head of the Executive committee of Zelenodolsk municipal district Alexander Tygin noted that the Culture Center “Rodina” got second wind thanks to Tatarstan President.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Culture Center “Rodina” would celebrate its 70th anniversary next year. “You did a great job – reconstructed the center on the threshold of its 70th anniversary. Zelenodolsk is full of talents,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
“We are proud of your victories. Many Zelenodolsk citizens glorify the republic and the whole country.” Rustam Minnikhanov continued.
After handing over the symbolic key to Director of the Culture Center “Rodina” Elena Antonova Tatarstan President and his party looked around the reconstructed center.
It should be mentioned that Zelenodolsk musical theatre established in 2007 was returned to the reconstructed center. There are 8 workshops in the culture center with more than 500 children attending them.
Rustam Minnikhanov also launched the regional charity campaign “Help to prepare for school”.
Later on the same day, Tatarstan President visited the house built by PHC “Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky” for its employees.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
