On 16 February Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin and the Deputy Head of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs General-Lieutenant Elena Zakharkina (who joined the meeting via video conference) took part in a meeting of the Chief Department of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs in the republic which summarized results of the department work in 2022 and set forth the tasks for 2023.
In his keynote report the Head of the Tatarstan Department Anvar Zakirov told about the increase of the amount of enforcement proceedings, and informed that in 2022 Tatarstan court bailiffs of Tatarstan made 11 359 arrests in the amount of 6 billion rubles. He also told about work in preventing violations in microfinancing and return of overdue debts, as well as actions taken against legal entities who violated Russian legislation
In his turn, speaking at the meeting, Rustam Nigmatullin told its participants about work carried out for improvement of work environment of bailiffs and capital overhaul of structural offices of the Department.
He said that due to coordinated work of the power bodies, businesses and the population, the republic has maintained its leading positions in the main macro-economic indicators. In 2022 the republic took part in 13 national projects (49 regional projects) with more than 43.7bn rubles having been allocated on their implementation. He said. “As many as 44 regional construction and capital overhaul programs were completed and the implementation of the rest of them will go on in 2023.”
“We can still see the high work load which you have to bear. In 2022 there were about 3m enforcement proceeding which made 8 800 proceedings per one bailiff”, he said.
He added that still there is a lot of work to be done in alimony and wages arrears collection and this should be done in close interaction with law enforcement bodies.
Having told participant of the meeting about events already held and to be held in Kazan in 2023, such as the international economic forum “Russia-Islamic world: KazanForum” and the United Games of the Special Olympics”, Rustam Nigmatullin said that holding these events properly is the priority for all kinds of power bodies and municipalities of the republic.
In conclusion he thanked employees of the department for their work under hard economic situation and during the special military operation and said he was sure the bailiffs will continue to provide law and order and will use timely enforcement measures.
