On August 6 Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of guardians of “Revival” Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev visited Bolgar historical and architectural museum reserve to see some objects under reconstruction and architectural research and take part in regional charity campaign “Help to prepare for school”.
The holiday organized for children took place in a Festival and event complex that was constructed under the auspices of “Revival” Foundation.
Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Aide to Tatarstan President and CEO of Regional Foundation of Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments Tatyana Larionova, Head of Spassky municipal region Kamil Nugayev presented rucksacks with school kits to 89 children from low-income families.
Mintimer Shaimiev noted that this campaign is held for the 7th time and thanked everyone who helps children living in this region.
Mintimer Shaimiev continued that in accordance with Tatarstan President’s order all transport vehicles and equipment purchased for Universiade was distributed among cultural and educational institutions. He presented five electric cars to Bolgar museum reserve.
Mintimer Shaimiev and his party were first passengers of electric cars. They went to see objects under reconstruction and architectural research.
Summing up, Mintimer Shaimiev said that there was much work to do on providing conditions for tourists and pilgrims.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
