Rustam Minnikhanov visits Al-Mardzhani mosque on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (Uraza Bayram) holiday

On August 8 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Al-Mardzhani mosque to take part in feast sermon and prayer on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (Uraza Bayram) holiday. The sermon was read by muhtasib of Kazan city Mansur hazrat Dzhalyaletdin.

Eid al-Fitr (Uraza Bayram) is one of the main days in Islamic calendar that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. According to the legend, Allah sent first Koran verses to the Prophet Muhammad this day. Muslims give themselves to festive mood, enjoy food and drinks. Feast services were held in all regional mosques on August 8. The feast salat was held in Kul Sharif Mosque on 6.30 a.m. and was broadcasted on TNV-Tatarstan channel.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
