On August 13 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Aide to Tatarstan President Airat Khairullin, and Head of Vysokaya Gora region Rustam Kalimullin inspected harvest works in Vysokaya Gora region.
Rustam Minnikhanov met with heads of farms, townships and investors.
Head of Vysokaya Gora region Rustam Kalimullin reported on harvest campaign. He told that 60 per cent of areas were harvested, crop yield made 19.5 centners per hectare, 500 hectares of winter crops were sowed.
Head of Vysokaya Gora region informed that 24 family farms were functioning in the region, 8 more were to be opened.
Tatarstan President noted that today one of key tasks for the republic is to keep private farmsteads and increase cattle stock. He told about the programme of upgrading agriculture equipment noting that 2 bln rubles are to be allocated for this purpose every year.
Rustam Minnikhanov also asked about use of Agroindustrial park that was opened in Kazan to help agricultural producers sell their goods.
Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov said that Vysokaya Gora region demonstrates high activity in this issue.
Tatarstan President noted that dairy industry and vegetable growing have always been priority areas of the region.
During his trip to Vysokaya Gora region Rustam Minnikhanov and his party also visited “Gulchachak” kindergarten.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
