13 August 2013, Tuesday
On August 13 at a briefing on results of work of Federal Bailiff Service in Tatarstan for the first half of 2013 Head of Tatarstan Department, Chief Bailiff Radik Ilyasov reported that “Road bailiff” would now find debtors on Tatarstan roads.

According to Radik Ilyasov, Federal Bailiff Service in Tatarstan received 7 hardware and software complexes called “Road bailiff” thanks to financial support of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The complexes are meant to improve detection of debtors’ cars and increase the regional budget.

Bailiffs will start using the complexes from August 20, 2013.

Using data base of tax service and State Road Safety Inspectorate, stationary or mobile cameras installed near traffic control posts will detect the debtor’s car.

If a debt amount corresponds to the car price, the car will be confiscated and passed on for sale. If the sum is not large, then any of car items will be arrested. The debtor may pay off his debts immediately by cash.

There are currently 140 thousand debtor’s cars.

640 thousand enforcement proceedings were instituted in the republic.

According to Radik Ilyasov, “Road bailiff” will enable collecting debts more effectively and increase the regional budget.
