Mintimer Shaimiev and Grigory Rapota visit island town of Sviyazhsk

On August 14 Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of guardians of “Revival” Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev and State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota visited island town of Sviyazhsk.
Mintimer Shaimiev showed the honoured guest historical monuments and reconstruction works under the project “Cultural heritage of Tatarstan: the ancient town of Bolgar and island town of Sviyazhsk”.
At the beginning of the tour the guests looked around the River boat station, the exact copy of Paul I boat, excavations of Tatar sloboda wooden buildings with interest.
Later, the guests visited the historical reconstruction of camping from times of Ivan the Terrible, where young people in armours demonstrated the battle of the XVI century.
Mintimer Shaimiev and Grigory Rapota also went to the Trinity Church, and the Cathedral “The Joy of all Who Sorrow”.
Deputy Director of State historical architectural and art museum “Sviyazhsk island town” Svetlana Frolova showed the unique expositions of the museum to the guests.
Then the guests visited tourist ethnographical complex “Horse yard”.
Grigory Rapota noted that great work was done on the island.
The guests were accompanied by Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Alexandr Gusev, Head of the Executive committee of Zelenodolsk municipal region Alexandr Tygin and other officials.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
