Mintimer Shaimiev meets with Board member of Russian-Turkish Public Forum Vladimir Ivanovsky

On August 16 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev met with Board member of Russian-Turkish Public Forum Vladimir Ivanovsky.
From January 2007 to July 2013 Vladimir Ivanovsky worked as Ambassador of Russian Federation to Turkish Republic and made substantial contribution to development of Turkish-Tatarstan relations.
At the beginning of the meeting Mintimer Shaimiev thanked the guest for long-term fruitful cooperation that favours consolidation of relations between two countries and regions.
Vladimir Ivanovsky told that he was impressed by changes that were made in Kazan before Universiade 2013. He accompanied Turkish President Abdullah Gul (February, 2009) and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (March, 2011) during their visits to Tatarstan.
At present, Vladimir Ivanovsky is the Board member of Russian-Turkish Public Forum. To the point, the decision about organization of the forum was made in 2010 when High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council was established.
During the meeting Vladimir Ivanovsky told about main areas of activity of Russian-Turkish Public Forum. The forum is meant to develop a strategy and main areas of cooperation between two countries.
Mintimer Shaimiev and Vladimir Ivanovsky exchanged their opinions on holding of Russian-Turkish Public Forum in Kazan in November this year.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
