On August 22 at a regional meeting of educational and scientific workers Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that competitiveness of any city and country depends on its educational potential and that work should be continued in this area.
The issues of modern technologies in educational practice in the region were discussed at the meeting held in Arsk (Tatarstan).
Summing up the results of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out the main tasks of the educational sphere.
In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the attitude to pre-school educational institutions should be changed and that the quality of pre-school education must be improved in general.
In addition, Tatarstan President noted that it is necessary to attract young teachers to the educational system and that universities should train specialists to meet demands of the field.
At the end of the meeting, Tatarstan President presented state and regional awards to the best teachers for their merits in the sphere of education.
