Rustam Minnikhanov: "All conditions for archeologists are provided at the international centre in Bolgar"

On August 23 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, and Board Chairman of OAO “Gasprom” Aleksei Miller took part in presentation of the International centre of archeological research in Bolgar. The centre is meant for carrying out restoration archeological works, and providing accommodation services for foreign and domestic specialists.
Before the presentation the guests visited the River station, the Museum of Bolgar civilization, Memorial installed to mark official adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria, and Cathedral Mosque.
During the presentation of the International centre of archeological research Rustam Minnikhanov delivered a welcoming speech. He thanked Gasprom leadership for support in construction of the unique archeological centre in Russia.
Mintimer Shaimiev said that this centre is a very important object that will let studying and reconstructing Bolgar and Sviyazhsk. He also thanked Gasprom company for their help in construction works.
Later on, the commemorative book of benefactors and the letter of gratitude of the Regional Foundation of revival of historical and cultural monuments were presented to investor of the International centre of archeological research and Board Chairman of OAO “Gasprom” Aleksei Miller, and Director General of OOO “Gasprom transgas Kazan” Rafkat Kantyukov.
The officials also visited the White Mosque and Museum of Bread.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
