1.4 mln square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On August 24 at a weekly regional meeting chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of 2013, 1 mln 421.9 thousand square meters of housing (60% of the year plan) were commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 102.5 percent compared to the last year.
Irek Faizullin reported that 7 municipalities completely fulfilled the year plan. 10 municipalities implemented more than 80 percent of the year plan, and 3 of them - more than 90 percent.
It was mentioned at the meeting, that 65 of 133 houses with a total area of 210.1 thousand square meters for 3689 flats (54.8% of the plan) have been commissioned under the social mortgage programme. 89 of 347 houses for veterans of the Great Patriotic War are under construction.
It was also reported, that construction of 49 of 69 houses under multi-apartment housing investment programme is nearly finished.
It was reported, that 4 objects were commissioned under the programme “Rural clubs”; 10 objects are ready by 90 percent; finishing and territory improvement works are being carried out at 22 objects.
Implementation of the programme of capital repair of educational objects was also discussed at the meeting. Rustam Minnikhanov asked to complete all capital repair works at educational objects in due time.
The Minister also said that 12 thousand 462 multi-apartment houses with central heating systems are to be prepared for the new heating season.
As of today, 3 thousand 458 of 3 thousand 646 educational objects (95% percent) and 1583 of 1618 healthcare objects (98 percent) are ready for the heating season.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
