Rustam Minnikhanov visits historical and memorial complex “To Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad” at Mamayev Kurgan

On August 25 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited historical and memorial complex “To Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad” at Mamayev Kurgan during his working trip to Volgograd.
Accompanied by Governor of the region Sergei Bozhenov Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan delegation looked around one of the most popular monuments to war heroes.
Deputy Director of the museum reserve “the Battle of Stalingrad” Vladimir Berlov told in details about the historical and memorial complex.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Square of heroes, the hall of military glory, laid flowers to the Eternal Flame and burial place of the Hero of the Soviet Union,
Marshal Vasily Chuikov, common grave of soldiers of 62nd army who protected Mamayev Kurgan during the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-1943.
In the evening Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a welcome reception on behalf of the Governor of Volgograd region Sergei Bozhenov.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
