Plan of actions on cooperation signed between Tatarstan and Volgograd region

On August 26 Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Deputy Chairman of Volgograd Government Vladimir Galushkin signed plan of actions on cooperation in different economic and industrial sectors between Tatarstan and Volgograd region. The event was held at the Government building of Volgograd region in presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the region Sergei Bozhenov.
To the point, cooperation between two regions is realized in accordance with the Agreement between Tatarstan Government and Administration of Volgograd region on trade-economic, scientific-technical and social-economic cooperation on September 18, 2009. Plan of actions that was signed today determined a number of cooperation areas for the next four years.
Sergei Bozhenov said that Tatartsan is ready for adopting innovations, and it was interesting to see the preparation for World Summer Universiade. He reminded as well that in 2018 Russian regions, including Kazan and Volgograd will host matches of the World Football Cup.
Members of Volgograd delegation are going to visit Kazan to see venues constructed for the Games and adopt experience of holding international competitions.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked leadership of Volgograd region for warm reception and support in organization of Universiade Torch Relay.
He noted that the Battle of Stalingrad is one of the most heroic events in the history of Great Patriotic War, and patriotism and dedication of soldiers show the example for new generations.
Rustam Minnikhanov believes that close cooperation between delegations will favour development of relations between Tatarstan and Volgograd region.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
