Aleksey Pesoshin awards winners of the Х Russia Open Championship in ploughing

On 9 July, speaking at a ceremony of closing the Х Russia Open Championship in ploughing held within the All-Russia Field Day-2023 at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the championship has become a bright event of the last week.

“In the field we could see an honest and beautiful fight to become the best tractor-driver of the country. I am sure that competitions have become perfect aid for experienced participants in achieving new boundaries and a springboard to future success for the newcomers,” he said. 

Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated the winners and handed them in awards. “We are ready to host ploughing championships in our republic in the future. That is why we do not say good-buy but see you”, he concluded. 

The championship organizer Director General of the Rosagroleasing Company Pavel Kosov thanked Tatarstan and highly appreciated the level of how the competitions were organized. 

The best of 65 tractor drivers from 35 regions of Russia, Belarus, Kazanstan, Kyrgyzstan and Iran took were the winners in two competitions – the artistic tractor driving and ploughing skills.

Irek Galiyev from Tatarstan was the first in ploughing and the winner of the artistic tractor driving was Sergey Sergeychev from Saratov region.
