Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of new children’s policlinic Azino in Kazan

On August 30 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in solemn opening of new children’s policlinic “Azino” in Kazan.
The new policlinic is part of Children’s regional clinical hospital and is one of the largest children’s policlinics in Russia with an area of 9,794.3 square meters. Its cost made 411.9 mln roubles.
Speaking at the solemn event, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin said that opening of the new policlinic is a long-awaited event for citizens of Azino district. It will enable rendering medical care for 70 thousand children on a timely basis. Ilsur Metshin also reminded that kindergartens were opened in the district last year.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated citizens of Tatarstan on the Day of the Republic. Rustam Minnikhanov is confident that highly qualified specialists will work with small patients.
The symbolic key of a new building was handed over to Chief Doctor of Children’s regional clinical hospital Rafael Shavaliev.
Rustam Minnikhanov and his party looked around the new policlinic. It is equipped with state-of-the-art medical and rehabilitation facilities, diagnostic and treatment process is fully computerized.
Rustam Minnikhanov also went to see a chest screening room, rooms of pediatricians, ultrasonic scanning and fiberoptic gastroduodenoscopy rooms.
Airat Farrakhov briefly told about possibilities of the new children’s policlinic “Azino”. He also reported that more than 730 thousand children live in Tatarstan, including 197 thousand living in Kazan. In 2012, 55,421 children were born in the region, which is 5 thousand more compared to 2011. According to Tatarstan Minister of Health, child mortality rate has fallen over last 10 years due to improvement of life quality and medical services.
Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov made a presentation of the project “Electronic Healthcare in the Republic of Tatarstan”.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Health Airat Farrakhov, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin took part in the event.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
