Cooperation Agreement signed between Turkish radio and TV Corporation and OAO “Tatmedia”

On August 30 at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Turkish radio and TV Corporation Ibrahim Shahin discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of mass communications.
Cooperation Agreement was signed between Turkish radio and TV Corporation (TRT) and OAO “Tatmedia” during the meeting. The Agreement aims to develope bilateral organizational, economic and technical relations to meet cultural and informational needs of Tatartsan and Turkish citizens.
Turkey and Tatarstan will cooperate in IT sphere in accordance with Turkish and Russian legislation.
Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Head of regional press and mass communications agency Irek Minnakhmetov, Director General of OAO “Tatmedia” Rustam Bikmukhametov, Director General of TV and radio company “Noviy Vek” Ilshat Aminov took part in the meeting.
For information: Turkish radio and TV Corporation (TRT) is the national TV and radio company of the Turkish Republic and was founded in 1964. The company incorporates 5 national TV channels, 7 radio stations that broadcast programmes in 30 languages, including Tatar language, 3 channels for international broadcasting: ТRТ Int (for Turkish citizens living abroad), ТRТ Тürk and ТRТ Аvaz (for Turkic-speaking states).
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
