Tatarstan President opens bridge across Vyatka River

On September 5 Head of Federal Road Agency Roman Starovoit, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin took part in a solemn opening of the bridge across Vyatka River.
Speaking at the event, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the bridge will connect two industrial centres of the republic. He thanked everyone who helped to design and build the bridge, and especially Head of Federal Road Agency.
Presentation of awards was held after official speeches. Roman Starovoit was awarded with a medal “For valorous labour”.
The bridge across Vyatka River is a section of federal highway M7. It was opened in 1976. In 2005 the Federal Road Agency decided to reconstruct the bridge.
The first part of the bridge was opened in September 2011. Reconstruction of the second part was carried out under the federal programme and cost 2.5 mln rubles.
The federal highway M7 is the busiest road in the republic, with daily traffic of 12 thousand cars.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
