Boris Pavlov, First Vice Premier of Tatarstan took part in All-Russia seminar-meeting devoted to the work of Russian Federal Migration Service

About 200 people took part in All-Russia seminar-meeting that was held in National Culture Center Kazan. It was devoted to realization of administrative regulations of Russian Federal Migration Service in the sphere of passport work and registration of citizens.

N.M.Smorodin, Deputy Director of Federal Migration Service (FMS) of Russia, General-Mayor of internal service, officials of FMS Central Office, territorial authorities, federal authorities of executive power, supplier organizations, designers and contractors on introduction of modern information technologies took part in the seminar-meeting.

Boris Pavlov, RT First Deputy Prime Minister reported that introduction of new administrative regulations and information technologies will make using of state service more comfortable, will allow spending less time and decrease administrative barriers. He also told that today RT innovative economy development needs the growth of population migration. So, consequently the migration growth in Tatarstan for 8-10% per year, increase of housing and industrial construction in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnie Chelny, Elabuga will create thousands of work places.

Moreover, First Deputy Prime Minister mentioned in his speech that Worldwide Summer Universiade will be held in Kazan in 2013. 10 000 participants from various countries all over the world will take part in the event.

Tourism will be actively developing in Tatarstan, cultural connections will be enlarged. Thus, the role of migration service will become more important.
At the present time the Complex program of Tatarstan demographic development till 2010 is being developed.

RT Government assisted Federal Migration Service of Russia in Tatarstan in creation of information-reference service, Internet reception, setting of electronic terminals.
