Engineering laser technology center to be established in Tatarstan

On September 9 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of IPG Photonics Valentin Gapontsev signed the “Road map” for implementing the project of an engineering center “KAI-Laser” at SEZ “Alabuga” within the framework of the visit of IPG Photonics delegation.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed Valentin Gapontsev at SEZ “Alabuga”. President of IPG Photonics, in his turn, admitted that he was surprised at what he saw. “We did not expect to see such kind of things. This is a successful special economic zone which has a promising future. We are thinking of becoming its resident,” Valentin Gapontsev noted.
“You are always welcome at SEZ “Alabuga,” Rustam Minnikhanov said addressing Valentin Gapontsev.
Establishment of IPG Photonics enterprise will be considered by the results of the visit of the delegation to Tatarstan.
The regional engineering center in the sphere of industrial laser technologies will be established in Kazan by IPG Photonics in cooperation with A.N. Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University. The center is meant for training personnel for future production and performing research activities.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
