Tatneft builds social objects to celebrate its 70th anniversary

Tatneft allocated more than 1.2 bln rubles for construction, capital repair and reconstruction of social objects under a complex programme dated to company’s 70th anniversary. Such information was presented on September 10 at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers.
From the first days the industry workers paid much attention to solving social problems. This activity received a powerful impetus within the last 10 years. Systemic work is carried out on improving territories of cities and townships, support of educational, medical, culture and sport spheres.
The programme was approved by Tatarstan President’s Order signed a year ago, and an organizing committee chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was then established.
Every year Tatneft provides funding and supervises reconstruction and construction of hospitals, schools, kindergartens, sports palaces, and other social objects.
On the 70th anniversary of Tatarstan oil industry the company fulfilled a great amount of work aimed to improve quality of life of oil industry workers and all citizens living in the region.
Participants of the briefing told about many social, cultural and sport events organized by Tatneft. Main celebrations dated to the anniversary took place on August 31 in Almetievsk.
On 29 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin attended a rugby game between Strela Ak-Bars (Kazan) and Lokomotiv-Penza teams held at the Mordovia Arena stadium in Saransk with participation of 7 102 spectators.
On 24 April, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage sites and confined to the International Day of Historical Monuments and Sites held in the Government House of the republic, the Aid to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova informed that in 2024 the Rebus Forum will be held on 14-15 November. She reminded that in the current year the forum will be named “Aglomerations: Experience, Opportunities. Challenges” and will be held with participation of China “as it will take place during the ROSTCI Forum.”
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with speakers and experts, investors, representatives of start-ups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutes took part in events of the “zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum dedicated to the topic of “Technological Entrepreneurship: the space of highest skills.
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin on behalf of the Government of the republic and the Director of the VOIN Center Igor Kazarezov signed an agreement on cooperation between the Government of the republic and the Center, which envisages interaction in issues of patriotic upbringing and military and sports training of youngsters.
