Tatarstan President: the basis of all our victories is transport accessibility and infrastructure

On September 13 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov took part in a plenary session of the 1st International transport and logistics forum in Kazan. The forum was organized by Russian Ministry of Transport and Tatarstan Government.
350 businessmen and government structures from 25 Russian regions and seven countries are taking part in the forum. A wide range of issues connected with development of transport industry and logistics will be discussed at the event. A pilot project of the Federal transport system development programme and major investment transport and logistics projects will be presented at the forum. One of them is Sviyazhsk multimodal interregional logistics centre.
Moreover, urgent issues of developing transport corridors and transport-logistics systems will be discussed.
Before the plenary session Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov, Azerbaijan Minister of Transport Ziya Mamedov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the exhibition demonstrating major investment projects in the industry.
Later on Maksim Sokolov presented awards to workers of transport and logistics industry who made contribution to preparation of transport and road infrastructure for Universiade 2013.
Head of Russian Ministry of Transport said that modern transport infrastructure with an airport complex was created during preparation for Universiade. He also mentioned the projects of Sviyazhsk multimodal interregional logistics centre, and construction of high-speed railway Moscow-Kazan that are currently being implemented.
On 18 May at their meeting at the Innopolis University, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, a delegation from the Gazprom Transgas Tomsk headed by the Director General of the company Vladislav Borodin and the administration of the University discussed implementation of joint projects within the 2022-2023 road map.
On 17 May, speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the regional Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin said that in the current year amendments to the USE (United State Exam) tasks have been made in all 11 subjects and the exam time has been shortened for two of them.
At their meeting at the Innopolis University, the Head of the 715 Department of the Gazprom Company Elena Kasyan, who came on a visit to Innopolis, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, Director of the Innopolis University Kirill Semenikhin, Director General of the Gazprom Transgas Kazan Company Rustem Usmanov discussed joint educational projects in training the Gazprom and its daughter companies in IT and digitalization at the Innopolis University. The participants of the meeting also discussed issues of digital transformation of the Gazprom staff with development of the corresponding IT platforms and training heads of the HR service at the university.
