Mini football Championship among judges of Volga Federal District opened in Kazan

On September 20 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 7th mini football championship among judges of the Volga Federal District in Kazan (Ak Bars Single Combat Palace, KAI-Olymp sports complex).
Tatarstan team of judges won the right to host traditional mini football championship among judges of the Volga Federal District one year ago when they won the previous tournament in Ufa.
For the first time the teams from all 14 regions of the Volga Federal District will take part in competitions.
On the first day the teams will play group stage match. Quarter finals, semi-finals and finals will be held on September,21.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed participants of the event: “We are pleased to welcome representatives of 14 teams from all regions of the Volga Federal District in our republic and we are glad that competitions will be held at one of the Universiade venues. It is nice to see that the community of judges is so sporty and united.”
Rustam Minnikhanov wished all athletes good luck and glorious competitions. After the welcoming speech of Chairman of Tatarstan Supreme Court Ilgiz Gilazov, the championship was announced opened.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov, Chairman of Tatarstan Supreme Court Ilgiz Gilazov, Head Coach of Rubin football club Kurban Berdyev, Coach of Zenit-Kazan volleyball club Vladimir Alekno, Zenit player Alexander Volkov took part in the opening ceremony.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
