Tatarstan President: "Produce of Tatarstan enterprises may be in-demand in Myanmar"

On September 23 at his meeting with Head of Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Win Aung Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that helicopters, trucks, and other produce of machine-building complex be in-demand in Myanmar.
The meeting was held during the working trip of Tatarstan President to Myanmar.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the receiving party for an opportunity to visit Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He stated that currently trade and economic relations between Tatarstan and Myanmar are not developed, though in the past Kazan helicopters plant delivered 19 helicopters to Myanmar.
Rustam Minnikhanov believes that deliveries of helicopters may be continued, and KAMAZ can also produce a wide range of trucks for civil and military purposes for Myanmar. Cooperation may also be developing in the sphere of mining industry and gas transportation.
Tatarstan President continued that Chambers of Commerce and Industry play an important role in development of trade and economic relations.
Chairman of Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that participation of Tatarstan President in development of international relations between Myanmar and Russia is very important.
Prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan and Myanmar were discussed at the meeting.
Myanmar Minister of Commerce Win Myint, Minister of Finance and revenue Win Shein, Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev and Ambassador of Russia to Myanmar Vasily Pospelov took part in the event.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
