A regular session of Interdepartmental commission on organization of children's and youth recreation and employment held in Kazan

On September 27 a session of Interdepartmental commission on organization of children's and youth recreation and employment chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Yury Kamaltynov was held at Tatarstan Government House.
Heads of executives committees of Tatarstan municipalities, chairmen of regional interdepartmental commissions on organization of children’s and youth recreation and employment took part in the session, that was held in a video conference format.
The main results of summer health promotion campaign 2013 were summed up at the session. By and large, the recreation for 169 thousand children and young people was organized in 1340 recreation centers, which made 100,6% compared to the last year’s figures and 80% of the year plan.
It was reported that 26500 underage teenagers (91% of the year plan) were employed at off-study time. No mass infection diseases, food poisonings, accidents leading to major injuries and children’s deaths were observed at children’s recreation camps and other recreation centers in 2013.
It was also reported that 22 camps were used to accommodate client groups, including 3.5 thousand people, during the 27th World University Summer Games, which were held during this year’s summer holidays in Tatarstan. The children’s recreation was organized at camps in neighboring municipal regions during that period.
Letters of gratitude of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, letters of acknowledgment of Interdepartmental commission were presented following the session results.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
