Today Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov spoke at Russian Government circuit meeting on the realization of primary tasks in national space programme.The meeting took place in Zheleznogorsk (Krasnoyarsk region) with the participation of Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
At the beginning of the meeting Vladimir Putin noted, that Russia has traditionally strong positions in space exploration. According to the Prime Minister, the most important thing today is the effective use of space technologies in behalf of our country to guarantee its security and turn Russian economy to the modern and innovative way, to get to the global markets of high technologies. “Space industry with its scientific and production reserves and human resources is one of our competitive advantages, which is important to maintain and develop”, said the Head of the Government.
Anatoly Perminov, The Head of the Federal Space Agency, Aleksandr Khloponin, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region, Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of the Kaluga region also spoke at the meeting.
The Head of the Federal Space Agency Anatoly Perminov said that accelerated development of the federal task programme connected with the application of space technologies for the progress of the country and its regions is expected to be finished before long, so that the programme will be adopted by 2009.
The programme has been already approved by regions and a number of departments. At present it requires the endorsement from the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
Speaking at the meeting Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republican programme “The application of space technologies in social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2008/2009 period” had been already approved. The amount of its financing made up 590 billion rubles. The main goal of the programme is the integration of space technologies with the social and economic sphere of the republic.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
