New buses presented to Tatarstan schools on the threshold of the Teacher’s Day

On October 3 within the framework of solemn events dedicated to the Teacher’s Day, buses were presented to regional schools and institutions of Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science in Kazan.
Speaking at the event, Head of Tatarstan Government congratulated everyone on the Teacher’s Day.
Ildar Khalikov said that “School bus” programme showed good results. According to Tatarstan Prime-Minister, the number of traffic accidents with participation of school buses was reduced significantly and the children’s educational level was raised due to transportation of children from small townships to highly equipped schools with qualified teaching staff. He noted that Tatartsan schoolchildren take an active part in all-Russia contests and competitions showing good results and get high scores on the USE.
Ildar Khalikov thanked heads of region and town administrations, heads of departments of education and teachers for their labour.
To the point, 106 busses for a total amount of 172.2 mln rubles (70 mln from the Russian budget and 102.2 mln rubles from the regional budget) were purchased in 2013.
Peugeot Boxer buses for 22 seats meeting the State Standard of the Russian Federation are designed for transportation of children.
Tatarstan Prime-Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Prime-Minister – Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Chairman of Tatarstan Council of Municipalities Minsagit Shakirov and other officials took part in the event.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
