Roman Shaykhutdinov congratulates residents of Innopolis on the City Day
On June 9, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov and Mayor of Innopolis Ruslan Shagaleev took part in a festival INN9, dedicated to the Innopolis city’s birthday, which celebrated its 9th anniversary.
“Today, Innopolis is a modern and attractive city with 7,800 people living, studying and working in it, who came here from different parts of the country and from abroad. We are proud of the success of the University of Innopolis, with more than 1,200 students, 18 laboratories and 9 development centres operating and a national centre for the development of robotics established. The university ranks 21st in the Forbes ranking of the best universities of Russia and 17th among Russian universities in the Round University Ranking world ranking,” Shaykhutdinov said.
I would like to thank the residents of Innopolis. The city is rapidly developing due to your energy and work. You are the main value of this small city, but a big project for the country. I wish our Innopolis could grow as modern, promising and open as you are!” Shagaleev said.
During the festival in Innopolis, spectators could watch the street performance «Sky Merry-Go-Round», enjoyed performances of musical groups and popular singer IOWA.
