Shamil Gafarov takes part in a meeting of the organizing committee for preparation and holding Kazan Digital Week 2024
On 19 June the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov and the President of the regional Academy of Sciences Rifkat Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the organizing committee for preparation and holding the fifth International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2024 held in the Government House of the republic by Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksud Shadayev, who took part in it via videoconference.
Speaking at the meeting, Maksud Shadayev said that last year the Kazan Digital Week confirmed its status of a popular platform for scientific and business cooperation of digital technologies developers and users. “In 2023 the forum was very successful with a very informative programme and participation of more than 20 thousand people. More than 200 companies took part in the exposition of the forum. This year’s task is to hold it with larger scale and better quality. Moreover as this year has been announced in Tatarstan as the Year of Scientific and Technological Development,” he said.
In his turn Shamil Gafarov said that the Kazan Digital Week turns into a leading Russian and international platform for innovators, leaders of the branch and specialists. “This forum is important for the whole country. The number of cooperation documents signed on it is the proof of rapid development of its level,” he said and thanked the Russian Minister for supporting this project.
The keynote speaker of the meeting Rifkat Minnikhanov told that this year the forum will take place from 9 to 11 September and informed about the development of its programme and planned events and the forum site https://kazandigitalweek.com/ which covers the main information about the coming and previous forums and can be used for submitting an application for participation in the forum. He also informed that as of today more than 90 companies have confirmed their participation in the Forum exhibition.
