World champions among policemen and firemen honoured in Kazan

On October 11 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated hockey and volleyball teams of Tatarstan Ministry of the Interior, winners of the World games among policemen and firemen.

Chief of Main Department for public order maintenance and coordination of interaction with executive authorities of Russian Ministry of the Interior Yury Demidov, Minister of the Interior Artem Khokhorin and Chief Federal Inspector on RT Renat Timerzyanov took part in the event.

The 15th World games among policemen and firemen were held in August 2013 in Belfast, Ireland. More than 10 thousand people competed in 57 sports. Tatarstan presented “Dinamo-MVD” teams in volleyball and hockey, current champions of these prestigious competitions. Both teams confirmed their titles.

Ildar Khalikov said that though achievements of Tatarstan legendary professional teams are frequent, the victory of Tatarstan policemen is a special one. He noted the role of the Society of Sports and Physical Training "Dinamo", thanked Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov, coaches and everyone who helped sportsmen to win.

Ildar Khalikov congratulated champions on behalf of Tatarstan President, thanked them for victory and presented Letters of Gratitude.
