The forum is gaining momentum of the federal level: what will Kazan Digital Week 2024 be like
On September 3, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic on preparation and holding of the International Forum Kazan Digital Week-2024 to be held in the capital of Tatarstan from September 9 to 11, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin said that Kazan Digital Week is one of the traditional events of Tatarstan and the main event of digital development for the republic.
The organizers prepared an extensive programme with the participation of federal and foreign guests, dedicated to the development of digitalization in Russia.
"At the same time, the event is gaining momentum of the federal level - from year to year, the number of federal companies and participants from federal authorities is growing," he said. According to the minister, the forum is a meeting place where business, science and the state develop certain solutions in digitalization. "This is a unique opportunity for the economy and IT industry of Tatarstan to present their solutions for all of Russia," Khayrullin added.
Regional ministers of digital development from all over Russia are expected to attend the forum and take part in a closed session. The head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia Maksut Shadayev, who previously emphasized that Kazan Digital Week is one of the main events in Russia for the development of digitalization, is also expected.
Regarding the list of the participants, Tatarstan Minister emphasized that over 7,000 people have already registered, and in total, more than 25,000 participants are expected at the event, taking into account those who will join the forum online. Among the guests will be representatives of 112 countries of the near and far abroad.
This year's exhibition will occupy an area almost twice as large as in previous years. There will be 141 exhibition stands on 4,000 square meters, and another 9 exhibits will be presented in the gallery. An outdoor area will also be organized.
The President of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Rifkat Minnikhanov also stressed that the emphasis is on the business part of the forum, especially the scientific component. «We are pleased that the number of scientific articles is growing every year», he said. Rifkat Minnikhanov emphasized that the business programme includes 85 sessions, in which 600 speakers will participate, 48 of them are foreign one.
