In 2008-2009 150 million RUR were allocated for personnel training and retraining programs for Tatarstan economy abroad

Andrey Pominov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science informed at the meeting in RT Cabinet that more than 450 people from Tatarstan were sent for studying in Russian and foreign institutions in 2008-2009 within the government program of personnel training and retraining for republic economy.

90 Tatarstan students and 40 specialists of state and municipal institutions got grants from RT Government.
150 million RUR were allocated for program realization from republic budget.

Students, postgraduate students, young scientists, professors, teachers of English will have training course.
It’s planned to train specialists in the spheres of sport, tourism, service, e.t.c.

Those who got grants and were trained abroad could continue training course.

Since 2006 more than 900 people took part in the program. In 2008 the Association of program graduates “Algarysh” was created in republic.

Briefing in the Tatarstan Government House informs that more than 8 thousand events held during New Year holidays in the republic

On 13 January, speaking about New Year events at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva informed that more than 8 thousand topical events were held during New Year holidays in the republic. “These included mass celebrations, theatrical performances, concerts, sporting competitions, and much more. Outdoor events were particularly popular, “she said and informed about numerous events held within the Kurshe (Neighbor) festival and the regional Christmas Tree celebrations organized with participation of the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.

Renovated children’s polyclinic opens in Innopolis

On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev, the Acting Mayor of the Town of Innopolis Ildar Khuzzyatov and heads of medical and construction organizations of the republic took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a children’s polyclinic in Innopolis. The new facility more than twice expanded the medical service of the town and also houses the 24 our emergency ambulances unit with a separate entrance for its staff.
