Dmitry Rogozin visits Tatarstan industrial enterprises

On October 24 within the framework of the session of Russian Military-industrial commission Vice-Premier of Russian Government Dmitry Rogozin, First Vice-Premier of Belarus Sergei Semashko, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov visited some Tatarstan enterprises and institutions of professional education.

The first object they visited was KAPO-Composit plant, a joint enterprise created within the framework of the programme of the United Aircraft Corporation. Production facilities and items made of composite materials were presented to members of the delegation. A prospective project of an engineering centre “KAI-laser” was presented at training production centre Gorbunov KAPO.

Rector of Kazan Technical University Albert Gilmutdinov said that main tasks of the centre are technical re-equipment of Tatarstan and Russian engineering industry, development of technologies, engineering support of existing small and medium-size enterprises. New laser machines produced by IPG Photonics company and samples of ready-made items were shown to Dmitry Rogozin. Staff training projects for aviation industry implemented by Kazan Technical University, Gorbunov KAPO and other enterprises were also presented to members of Military-industrial commission.

In Zelenodolsk town Dmitry Rogozin took part in laying of the foundation stone of new house for workers of Gorky plant. He congratulated them on important event in their life and thanked for excellent quality of work.

Ildar Khalikov, in his turn, thanked Dmitry Rogozin for defence order for Tatarstan industry.

The system of professional training for specialists of Zelenodolsk Gorky plant was presented to Dmitry Rogozin at the plant’s training centre.

While visiting production facilities, Dmitry Rogozin was told about the plan of technical re-equipment of the plant and modernization programme.
