Chinese company “CGGC International” is interested in getting orders in Tatarstan

Rustam Minnikhanov met with Mr. Azif Ayaz, the Head of Arabic Trade Center (Kuwait) and representatives of “CGGC International” company (China). Also Ildus Faskhutdinov, RT Minister of Transport and Road Service, Rauzil Khaziev, RT Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing, Valery Sorokin, General Director of “Svyazinvestneftehim” JSC and others were at the meeting.
Vice President of “CGGC International” (China Gezhouba (Group) Corporation) presented the possibilities of this large Chinese construction company.
The specialization of the company is construction of hydropower stations, power lines, bridges and multilevel road interchanges, residential settlements. The company is among 150 large enterprises in China which are supported by the government, also in the sphere of projects realization in international markets.
In 2007 “CGGC International” signed international contracts for the sum of $ 3.5 billion, in 2008 – for $ 2 billion. The company has experience in construction of large projects in 30 countries all over the world.
Rustam Minnikhanov told about realization of such projects as the Complex of petrochemical and oil-refining plants (Nizhnekamsk, “TANEKO” JSC project), construction of the complex for production of ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide (Mendeleevsk, “AMMONY” JSC, total cost of the project is $ 1 billion).
Moreover, the great construction has been started in connection with Universiade-2013 in Kazan, road interchanges are being modernized.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
