New gypsum partition block production line launched in Tatarstan

On October 25 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the ceremony of launching the gypsum partition block production line at OOO "Fonika gypsum" in Kamsko-Ustinsky region.
The new line for production of partition blocks intended for internal applications in housing facilities is the next development stage of OOO “Fonika gypsum”, which was launched in June, 2013. The new line will be able to produce 300,000 square meters of blocks of high-quality gypsum, which is minded near the plant, per year. The total amount of investments in the plant made 5 bln rubles.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ildar Khalikov noted that it was not by chance that the plant appeared in Tatarstan. “We have large construction volumes. For many years Tatarstan has been ranked third among Russian regions in terms of commissioning housing facilities. Our construction volumes have not reduced even after the Universiade,” Head of Tatarstan Government said.
According to Ildar Khalikov, due to the presence of the plant in the republic the builders will get the whole range of gypsum products directly at site and in cooperation with the manufacturer. “The plant will provide new jobs and salaries for people for many years,” Tatarstan Prime Minister noted.
Ildar Khalikov thanked the investor, builders, gas workers, supervisory bodies for their cooperation in implementation of the large project and wished good luck to the plant’s workers.
Fonika Board Chairman Aleksander Zabarsky, in his turn, thanked the regional leadership for collaboration in starting up the plant.
The honoured guests cut the symbolic ribbon to mark the launching of the new line and looked around the plant afterwards.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
