Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Mitsui officials (Japan)

On October 29 at their meeting at KRK “Pyramida” Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Executive Director for Project Development of Mitsui & Co., Ltd Sugawara Masato discussed prospects of cooperation between Mitsui and Tatarstan production factories. In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that Tatarstan appreciates relations with Mitsui & Co., Ltd and is interested in their further development.

To the point, a delegation of Mitsui & Co., Ltd arrived in Tatarstan to take part in solemn events dated to 55th anniversary of OAO "Kazanorgsintez" and 50th anniversary of first production output at OAO "Kazanorgsintez”. Mitsui & Co., Ltd and OAO "Kazanorgsintez” have long-term business relations. In 2005 they implemented a joint project on setting up the bisphenol and polycarbonate production complex.

Director General of OAO “TAIF” Albert Shigabutdinov, Deputy Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Khamza Bagmanov, Board Chairman of OAO “Nizhnekamsneftekhim”, Deputy Director General for Management and Strategic Development of OAO “Nizhnekamsneftekhim” Vladimir Busygin, Aide to Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov and other officials took part in the meeting.
