On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region of the republic, the Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a joint meeting of the Council of Zelenodolsk Municipality and the Council of the town of Zelenodolsk dedicated to results of social and economic development of the region in 2024 and tasks for 2025 and held in the Center of Cultural Development of Zelenodolsk.
The key note speaker of the meeting, the Head of Zelenodolsk municipality Mikhail Afansyev informed about 12 volunteers who have just signed a volunteer military service contracts with the Russian Defence Ministry and stated that help to participants of the special military operation (SMO) is one of priorities in work of local power authorities.
“We have sent more than 200 tonnes of humanitarian aid worth more than 100m rubles to support participants of the SMO to the cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye,” he emphasized.
Mikhail Afanasyev expressed special gratitude to heads of enterprises, members of the State Council of the republic, members of the group “Leave no man behind”, the branch of the “Brothers-in-Arms” and all caring residents for patriotism and unity they demonstrate.
Having said that average monthly salaries in the region rose by 22 per cent and reached 65 thousand rubles, he added that in some SMEs there are still grey schemes.
“I give an errand to the executive committee together with specialists from tax service and the prosecutor’s office to organize balance checks at enterprises with low wages”, Mikhail Afanasyev said.
He added that work of basic enterprises such as Sergo and Gorki plants, the design bureau and the machine-building plant is stable making a substantial contribution into the economy of the regions.
