As many as 1m 473 thousand square meters of housing or 45 per cent of the planned commissioned in Tatarstan

On 5 April, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported about work progress in housing construction, programmes of ensuring accommodation to certain groups of citizens and other events.

Having told about cases of occupational injuries and checks of construction sites carried out in the first three months of the current year, Marat Ayzatullin said that 1m 473 thousand square meters of housing, including commercial, multi-apartment, social mortgage and individual houses,  have been already commissioned in the republic which makes 45 per cent of the planned.

He also told about programmes of providing housing to certain categories of residents, construction of social and engineering infrastructure facilities, of comprehensive development of rural areas, and construction in the spheres of education, healthcare and youth policy.

Marat Ayzatullin informed about work to be done in the spheres of sports and the Ecological Wellbeing programme and implementation of three regional programmes on construction of other facilities of social infrastructure

In conclusion he reported about the amount of work completed on construction of fire stations and the work to be done for public spaces improvements in regions of the republic.
