Telegrams of condolences in connection with Boeing 737 crash sent to Tatarstan

On November 18 people continue sending telegrams of condolences in connection with the death of passengers of Boeing737 plane that crashed on the 17th of November, 2013 at Kazan international airport to Tatarstan.
Condolences are extended to all relatives and families of victims of the plane crash and to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, whose elder son was aboard the plane that crashed, personally.
In his telephone conversation with Tatartsan President Rustam Minnikhanov President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin expressed his deep condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased. Vladimir Putin also extended his condolences to Tatarstan leader and his family, whose son was killed in the plane crash.
Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev, Azerbaijan President Ilkham Aliev, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Tadzhikistan’s President Emomalii Rakhmon, the family of ex-president of Tatarstan, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, Chairman of Russia’s Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin, Russia’s Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, Head of Federal Agency for Fisheries Andrey Krainiy, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, Governor of Khabarovsk region, President of the Republic of Sakha, Governors of Astrakhan, Volgograd, Penza, Tomsk, Orenburg, Tyumen, Kurgan, Murmansk regions, President of the Udmurt Republic, Head of the Republic of Khakassia, Head of the Republic of Adygeya, Head of the Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic, Head of the Republic of Mari El, Head of the Chechen Republic, heads of Kazakhstan regions, President of OAO “Russian Railways” Vladimir Yakunin, heads of other federal and regional corporations, joint-stock companies and representatives of public organizations of Tatar from all over the world sent their condolences in connection with the plane crash in Kazan.
Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Head of Russian Central Muslim Spiritual Directorate, Chief Mufti of Russia Talgat Tadzhuddin, representatives of other religions also expressed their condolences.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked everyone for their sincere sympathy and support. “Thank you all for your support”, he wrote on Twitter.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
