Under the “Our Yard” programme, road works completed by 82%, outdoor lighting works – 83%

On 2 August, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Our Yard programme coordinator, the Head of the City Environment Development programmes of the Institute of the Development of Tatarstan Cities Arina Petrova reported about the work progress , having told that under the “Our Yard” programme road works have been completed by 82% and outdoor lighting works  by 83% .

She informed that outdoor lighting installation has been completed in 363 yards in Agryz, Zaunsk and Mamadysh regions, with work still going on in 155 yards of 12 municipalities of the republic.

As far the sports and children’s playgrounds equipment is concerned, she said that the work has been completed in 290 yards.

Arina Petrova also told participants of the meeting about check-out visitations of completed yards in seven municipalities where some drawbacks such as construction waste, absence of information stands related to children’s equipment and ramps have been found which hampers putting these yards into use.

She also informed about the visitations planned for the first half of current August and results of media coverage of the programme in official accounts with 472 items having been published since the beginning of the construction season.
