The annual housing construction plan is fulfilled by 80% in Tatarstan

On August 9, speaking at a regional meeting held in the Government House of the republic by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported that the annual housing construction plan of the republic has been fulfilled by 80 %, with 2m 599 thousand square meters having been commissioned.

He informed about the percentage of work fulfilled in construction of commercial, individual and social mortgage programmes and the implementation of the programme of providing housing for certain groups of residents, such as orphans, young families, families with many children and forced migrants. 

He also informed participants of the meeting about the percentage of the implementation of construction state and regional programmes of the comprehensive development of rural territories, education, healthcare, sports, ecology, improvement of public spaces, potable water provision, culture and youth policy as well as the amount of work done by the programmes of modernization and capital overhaul of water treatment facilities, repairs of gas distribution networks and boiler plants replacement.

The Minister attached special attention to the topic of labour safety at construction sites and informed that since the beginning of the current year self-regulating organizations have carried out 1 621 checks and specialists of the State Construction Surveillance – 990 checks of construction sites having issued 320 administrative responsibility acts. 

The Minister then reported on preparations for the upcoming heating period. According to data entered by municipal districts into the system «Monitoring of housing stock», today the total percentage of readiness of facilities in the republic makes 72 per cent.
